Project teams
EveryonePlans has a project mode: work broken down, assigned, sequenced and tracked, with the schedule, files, discussion and reporting attached to the project rather than scattered across tools — for groups organized around finishing something rather than around running continuously.
Runs in Project mode — one of four profiles that decide which menu you see. You can switch mode whenever the way you work changes, and we are building per-view on/off control so you can trim the menu to exactly what your group uses.
01WHAT YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO DO
The work this kind of group is really doing.
- Break the work down and sequence it with real dependencies
- Keep documents with the task they belong to
- See what is blocked, and by whom
- Coordinate people who are not all in the same organization
- Report progress without assembling it by hand
02THE PARTS THAT MATTER HERE
Six capabilities that carry most of it.
Everything else is still there — this is what this kind of group reaches for first. Each links to the page that explains how it works.
03WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE IN PRACTICE
The step that could not start yet
- The project is instantiated from a template with its usual nine steps.
- Step four depends on step three, so it does not become anybody’s problem early.
- The drawings are attached to the step, not emailed round.
- The weekly report is a view rather than a document somebody writes.
04QUESTIONS
What people in your position ask
How is this different from a task app?
Set up your project and look around.
Creating an account is free and takes a couple of minutes. Pick Project mode when you do — and change it later if it turns out another one fits better.
